You will be embellishing the fabric for your coat before it’s sewn together, using a sewing pattern. The result will be as magnificent as you want to make it! That is exactly what Tricia did and the result has been admired by so many and is one of her favourites. Ready to have a go?.

Your first coat is all about you and your tutor Tricia Legg. This is an interactive, course with six LIVE sessions using zoom over 6 weeks so you have plenty of time to work through each stage. They are recorded so you are able to review the lessons and look at them over and over. You will receive one-on-one evaluation during each step and your question will be answered. If you can not keep up the pace, each lesson will be recorded so you can work around your other commitments.
We work in New Zealand dollars. The usual price for the workshop is $NZ199 (approximately $US115, €98, £86) If you register before July 1st the price is $NZ 179. Participant numbers are strictly limited.
You will need Fabric to make a coat and it’s lining, normal craft accessories such as needles, scissors, thread etc, metallic thread and a metallic sewing machine needle, a sewing machine that has fancy stitching options, a coat pattern you like or the one Tricia used here (more information once registered), and a passion for trying new and exciting embellishments using your machine that will become your unique original.
