Patchwork for the 21st century
Patchwork coats are so in fashion this year but this website is all about being different, being unique, so we will show you how to raise the stakes! Starting by cutting up a sweatshirt (Don’t panic you will sew it back together again) adding your favourite patchwork designs and then… really have fun with another layer like no other!
Tricia Legg, your tutor has one, with a zip up the front, that she wears all through the chillier months. Better still, she will show you how to make one too, with your own design of course and your personal touch of magic!

Sweatshirt with WOW is all about you and your tutor Tricia Legg. This is an interactive, course with six LIVE sessions using zoom over 6 weeks so you have plenty of time to work through each stage. They are recorded so you are able to review the lessons and look at them over and over. You will receive one-on-one evaluation during each step and your question will be answered. If you can not keep up the pace, each lesson will be recorded so you can work around your other commitments.
We work in New Zealand dollars. The usual price for the workshop is $NZ179 (approximately $US104, €89, £77) If you register before June 1st the price is $NZ 139. Participant numbers are strictly limited.
You will need; A sweatshirt which is at least 2 sizes larger than you are. You will also need a long zip, scraps of fabric, sewing machine and perhaps if you are already a quilter, two of your favourite patchwork patterns BUT add embroidery thread and interesting textured threads to your list if you really want to stand out from the ground. After all these workshops are not about being the same as everyone else!
